Writing coach, musician and workshop leader
I have been making music for half a century in ensembles, bands and orchestras. Fifteen years ago, I discovered how much fun it is to make music together with children in schools. I am now opening up ways for adults to make music and write music for themselves. I was born in Berlin to a musical family, where music and literature were instilled in me even as a baby. As a classical violinist and viola player, I have not only played baroque and contemporary music, but have also appeared with jazz, pop and musicals on international concert stages. Through following workshops in England, I then learned to conduct music workshops and classes independently.
I will draw on my diverse training and experience to help you discover your own voice.
- I was music educator with the choir and orchestras of the Dutch Radio and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
- I played with various ensembles and orchestras in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. (Musica Antiqua Köln, Ictus Ensemble, Willem Breuker Kollektief, Ensemble modern)
- I have successfully completed the first year of the Phoenix coaching training.
- I have a writing coach diploma from the Joepie Academy, Amsterdam
